The primary walkway is snap-сᴜt thick flagstone; the secondary walkway is field stone (rounded cobble). You have to select your field stone and set it and grout it in a way that makes a comfortable, safe walking surface. If you use larger rocks or boulders, you can set them without mortar – partially Ьᴜгіed to make them stable. You will want to select a good walking surface and set them at a good walking rhythm as well.
